We have posted on the workbensh page a first glimpse of a beautiful special edition set of 24 figures, (16 British and 8 Afghan), portaying the Last Stand at Gandamak inspired by W. B. Wollen's iconic painting and most skilfully crafted by Paul Hicks. Very pleased to say that the first codes in the new ranges are now available from our UK distributor, Empress Miniatures. They are for the 43rd (The Monmouthshire0 Regiment (Light Infantry) in Africa in 1852 and for the 22nd (The Cheshire) Regiment in India in 1843. Of course they have other applications besides. These are all released this week. (IMBC 50 has been around for a while, but the others have now joined them). Give it a few days for them to pop up for sale in the Empress Miniatures online shop. They are a splendid sight! In IMBC 49 there is a mounted officer - a personality figure for Colonel Ewart - but no horse, because we're confident you'll have plenty more of our excellent horses in your trays.
